Me and vines.jpg

Hello

Thank you so much for taking the time to learn a bit more about me.  I love helping others grow and be successful.  My most salient role, in life, is that of a teacher and coach; whether that be with colleagues, clients, family or with my own child.  I truly believe that we are all capable of greatness and sometimes we just need someone to help us recognize that greatness in ourselves and provide that spotlight.

My Story

I have been a student of leadership development since I was a child being afforded the opportunity to participate in leadership programs in the Denver Public Schools throughout my formative years.  I chose to pursue my undergraduate degree at Regis University, where I double majored in Biology and Philosophy but received so much more than just an education.  The Jesuit tradition taught me the importance of social justice and sharing one's gifts and talents with others.  These values are at the core of how I have lived my life and foundational to the work that I have pursed throughout my career.

After college, I received my Master's Degree in Counseling from Providence College and worked in Higher Education in Student Affairs where I helped students transition to college and learn to be successful living and working with others.  I transitioned into corporate roles in 2000 and over the past 20+ years, I have worked in the field of Learning and Development and Talent Management.  I have led global teams in five different industries- higher education, travel and leisure, retail, consumer electronics and software/high tech.  During my career, I have also been a sales leader and led sales and customer success enablement teams.  My diverse background has equipped me with the business acumen to teach and coach leaders in all corporate functions with an expertise in working with customer-facing, marketing, human resources, and technical leaders.

With all of that said, I am so much more than my resume.  I am a widow and single parent to an amazing, non-binary child.  We live in Colorado, where we get to enjoy the Rocky Mountains and spending time with our given and chosen family.  I share this part of me because my life experience has afforded me great losses, unique challenges, and interesting learning opportunities where I have gain tremendous wisdom and compassion for others.  I look forward to connecting with you, sharing some of what I have learned about living an intentional life, and helping you be your best self.
