Coaching Services

I love the image above when thinking about how I help others through the ART and SCIENCE of coaching.  Coaching is as a personalized and confidential professional development process designed for the leader or team  It involves partnership between myself and the leader or team, aimed at enhancing leadership skills, improving decision-making abilities, and achieving specific goals.  I do not have all of the answers but I will share the right questions and processes to untangle your thinking and gain clarity and insights.

My coaching process is a balance of art and science.  From a science standpoint, I like to start all engagements with some form of assessment.  For individuals, that usually includes  a combination of a customized 360 report and psychometric assessments.  For teams, we start with a team effectiveness survey and determine the right intervention from the results.

The art of coaching comes from my training in active inquiry that involves asking powerful and thought-provoking questions to stimulate deep reflection, self-discovery, and problem-solving.  It goes beyond surface-level inquiries which encourages individuals to explore their thoughts, emotions, and beliefs more profoundly. The purpose of active inquiry in coaching is to facilitate a transformative process, helping you gain new perspectives, uncover insights, and make informed decisions.

All coaching engagements start with specific goals that the leader or team define based on the data and feedback from the assessment process.  I offer six-month, nine-month  and twelve-month coaching packages, depending on the individual's/team's goals.  The engagement will wrap with a full review of goal achievement and collection of follow-up feedback.

Leadership Coaching

This service is a one on one coaching engagement made up of initial assessments (360 and other assessments), goal setting, 60 to 90-minute bi-monthly discussions, behavioral training (if needed), check-ins with the individuals sponsor (employer sponsored engagement only) and final goal review.

I specialize in helping leaders prepare for promotions, improve their emotional intelligence competencies, better manage their teams, upskill their communication skills and up-level into a new role.

​

Most leadership coaching engagements  are between six to twelve months in length.

Team Coaching

Team coaching is a collaborative and structured process aimed at improving the performance and effectiveness of a team. Unlike individual coaching, team coaching focuses on enhancing collective dynamics, communication, collaboration, and overall team productivity.

 

This service begins with a team engagement survey that will clearly identify strengths and areas for improvement.  From there, I collaborate with the team to develop an improvement action plan, which will include some team development workshops, team facilitated discussions lead by myself, and reassessments.  These engagements are usually nine to twelve months in length.

Assessment Coaching

I am certified in a number of psychometric assessments, including:

  • DISC

  • Hogan Assessments (HPI, HDS, & MVPI)

  • RallyBright 

  • Predictive Index

  • Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument (HBDI)

  • EQometer (self and 360)

Should you need a candidate/employee assessed as part of hiring, succession, or development process, I can arrange assessments, reports, coaching read-outs, and recommendations from the assessments.

Accelerated Integration Coaching

Starting a new role is exciting but often can be very stressful, especially for senior leaders and executives.  The integration process requires a lot of energy and intentional effort.  However, most organizations do not offer enough support to really "hit the ground running" but hold very high expectations for their new leaders.

Let me help you get off to a great start.  I have designed a focused, transitional coaching program for senior and executive leaders where we will develop a customized onboarding approach to gain role clarity, establish trust and credibility, and build your internal network, all while protecting your emotional energy and well-being.  This is a 3-4 month program beginning within the first month of your tenure at a new organization.  To learn more, please download the program brief below.
